Gal Gadot is getting back together with the Fast & Furious
clan.
Gal Gadot's future in the DC Universe is currently unknown, but
that can't be said about the Fast & Furious franchise, where she made her
big-screen debut.
The Fast and the Furious franchise has been ongoing for 20 years.
Fast X, the franchise's upcoming film, will debut in May 2023 and include a
large portion of the main cast returning (aside from director Justin Lin, who
has overseen the previous five Fast films), as well as a new antagonist played
by Jason Momoa, a fellow member of the DC Universe.
However, his fellow Justice League member is poised to make her
comeback as Momoa is about to make his Fast & Furious debut.
Return of Gal Gadot in Fast X
According to The Direct's sources, Gal Gadot will return to the
Fast & Furious series in 2023's Fast X.
While Gadot has recently appeared in Wonder Woman, Red Notice, and
Death on the Nile, her career was launched by her performance as Gisele Yashar
in 2009's Fast & Furious.
Her character becomes romantically involved with Han Lue, who is
portrayed by Sung Kang, in the 2011 film Fast Five. Nevertheless, her character
was killed in Fast & Furious 6 (2013) in an effort to save Han.
Gadot's participation in Fast X is yet unknown in terms of
specifics.
Then Han, and now Gisele?
It comes as a shock to find that Gadot is returning for Fast X
because her character passed away in Fast & Furious 6.
She is not the first figure the franchise has brought back from
the grave, though the specifics of how and why have not yet been made known.
Han, who played the love interest of Gadot's character and was
also eliminated, recently made a comeback in Fast 9.
In the 2021 movie, it was revealed that Gisele's former coworker
Mr. Nobody, played by Kurt Russell, assisted Han in faking his death in
exchange for working for him.
It will be intriguing to observe how those earlier experiences
affect Gadot's return as Gisele and affect the next movie.
Fast X is expected to arrive in theaters on May 19, 2023.
