Power Book II: Ghost confirms season 2 premiere date in new trailer

Power Book II: Ghost has finally announced a premiere date for the second season with a new sneak preview of what's to come.

The new trailer was released on Power Ghost's social media channels on September 15, with the tagline: "Does the ends justify the means?" The teaser also confirmed that season two of Power Book II: Ghost will premiere on STARZ on November 21, 2021.

Black mafia family RUMORS

The video focuses on Michael Rainey Jr's character Tariq, who says in the teaser: "It always comes down to me, my family, and a gun."

He continues: "We all gotta play the hand that we dealt. You gotta deal with the consequences.

The show's creator Courtney Kemp previously spoke to Deadline about the upcoming series, quoting its tagline: "Is there such a thing as real greater good, right? Is there a greater good? Does the end justify the means?"

She explained that ethics will be a central theme in the new season, as "Tariq's class, the Canonical Studies class, moves into an ethics unit".

She added: "When you're asked to write a paper about that or speak about that in class and you have committed some pretty heinous acts in order to achieve your end... that's one I could address and say that those are some things that are coming along for sure."

The second season was announced back in September last year, with the main cast all returning for round two. That includes Michael Rainey Jr (Tariq), Mary J Blige (Monet), Shane Johnson (Cooper), and Gianni Paolo (Brayden).
